"New Beginnings; New Celebrations"

"Do not remember the former things, nor consider
the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing." Isaiah 43:18-19

Each new day offers countless opportunities to celebrate life and to serve others. But each day also offers countless opportunities to fall prey to the many distractions of our difficult times. I don't know what opportunities yesterday
offered you, but today is a "New" day; a "New" beginning. Yesterday no longer has power over you because it doesn't exist anymore. We fall prey to yesterday when we can't let go of the former things. Consider this day a new beginning.
Consider it a fresh start, a renewed opportunity to experience God's grace, mercy, love and power. Do not consider yesterday, but take today and the days that follow as opportunites to trust God even the more to do a "New" thing in
your life, and in the life of your love ones and those you serve. Distractions will come to try to get you off focus. When you are going through, fight for your mind to be stayed on Jesus; the author and finisher of your faith! Starting today, make your life a celebration. After all, your talents are uniques, as are your opportunities. So make a decision to not allow life circumstances to bring you down, but to build you up. Enjoy your new beginning today!

"The Power of a Plan"

"Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God;
thy Spirit is good, lead me into the land of uprightness ." Psalm 143:10

If you have no idea where you want to go, any road will take you there. And if you're determined to live a life of total spontaneity, a life devoid of planning and preparation, good luck. But if you're like most people, you'll achieve greater contentment and success by planning for the future. In fact, a clearly marked road map for life can be a powerful tool for achieving the things you want and need. Life is uncertain, of course, but uncertainty is no excuse for fuzzy thinking or sloppy planning. That's why you should invest ample time planning for this day and each day that follows. Then you can summon the energy and the courage required to implement your plans, come what may. Remember to keep God in all planning and ask Him to direct you one step at a time!

"Relying on the Creator"

"He gives power to the weak, and to those who
have no might He increases strength." Isaiah 40:29

Have you ever faced challenges that seemed too big to handle? In fact, they felt unbearable? Big problems, that despite your best efforts, simply seemed like they could not besolved? If so, you know how uncomfortable it is to feel helpless in the face of difficult circumstances. Thankfully, you can always turn your thoughts and prayers to God and He will respond. God's hand uplifts those who turn their hearts and prayers to Him. Count yourself among that number. When you do, you
can live courageously and joyfully, knowing that "this too will pass" and that God's love for you will not. And you can draw strength from the knowledge that you are a marvelous creation, loved, protected, and uplifted by the ever present
hand of God. So rejoice! Give God the chance to show you what He can do. Rely on your creator to see you through!
