Rev. Vera V. Worthy

Reverend Vera V. Worthy is a native of Virginia. She received her license to preach in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, September 2001 and was ordained a Local Deacon, March 2004 and a Local Elder April 2006.  Rev. Worthy has held the positions of  Delaware Conference Missionary Society Worship Director, Conference President of the Minister’s Spouses Widows Widowers Organization Plus PKs. Currently she serves as the 1st Episcopal District Treasurer and Connectional Chair.  Rev. Worthy is the wife of Rev. Richard H. Worthy, Presiding Elder of the Wilmington District of the Delaware Annual Conference and she serves as consultant. Rev. Worthy is a Associate at the New Elizabeth AMEC.

Reverend Tamika Cobb-Ali, M.S.W., M. Div.

Rev. Tamika Cobb-Ali is a native of Connecticut. Rev. Ali received her ordination of Itinerant Deacon and Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2011 and 2013, respectively. She served in various ministry capacities such as the Young People’s and Children’s Division of the Women’s Missionary Society, the Young Adult Network, the Delaware Annual Conference Women In Ministry, and the Delaware Annual Conference Ministerial Institute. Rev. Ali is a member of the ministerial staff at New Elizabeth African Methodist Episcopal Church.
