Self Respect" "A devout life does bring wealth, but it's the rich simplicity of being yourself before God." 1 Timothy 6:6 MSG
What are you telling yourself about yourself? When you look in the mirror, are you staring back at your biggest booster or your harshest critic? If you can learn to give yourself the benefit of the doubt; if you can speak respectfully and constructively to the person in the mirror, then you'll benefit from those conversations. But if you're constantly berating yourself; if you're constantly telling yourself that you simply don't measure up, then you'll find that your sense of self-worth will suffer. Talk respectfully to yourself; look in the mirror and marvel at God's creation. Your self-worth will begin to change when you think more highly of yourself!
