Welcome to the "New" Elizabeth African Methodist Episcopal Church. We are a church determined to make a difference in the lives and community we serve by: “Reaching, Reclaiming and Transforming Lives through the Power of Jesus Christ.”  We are a traditional Methodist church with a contemporary 21st Century approach to ministry. As a growing congregation it is our mission to reach out to all ages, as we serve together to build a church for the Kingdom of God in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our church is currently located at the historic Pencader Presbyterian Church at 2303 Glasgow Avenue, Newark, DE 19702.  Our congregation gathers every Sunday morning for Worship and Children’s Sunday School at 9:00am. We look forward to seeing you.  Please contact us anytime!

A reminder for Lent. "“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart,With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm" Joel 2:12-13 What Does Your Soul Look Like? Lent is a time of penance and spiritual renewal.It brings us the unique opportunity to work towards conversion and transformationand prepare ourselves for the Easter season.

Come join us for Bible Study every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. We Have begun a new study series "Experiencing God." Our Bible Study is designed for practical application for everyday living. Come and be blessed!
